What is Royal jelly?

  1. A highly nutritious glandular secretion of young bees, used to feed the queen and young brood.
  2. A substance produced by worker bees to feed to youngest brood and to the queen brood throughout its immature life.
  3. The substance that is secreted from glands in a worker bee’s head and is used to feed the brood.
