What is Pheromone?

  1. A chemical scent produced to establish a basic form of communication or to stimulate response.
  2. A chemical secreted by glands that convey a message to influence behaviour or development of members of the same species.
  3. Chemical substances secreted from glands and used as a means of communication. Honey bees secrete many different pheromones.
